My paper's gone!

It's been two weeks since I last worked at it and now it has just... disappeared! I can't find it! I know where I had saved it, I KNOW it! But it isn't there!

I need:

1. Hugs and people telling me that I will be able to get it done it time and

Computer side. Can you recall an exact phrase that appears in it? It doesn't have to be long, but just not too common. If so, you can do a search on your entire hard drive and see where it might have hidden it. I had that happen to me with a story once and found it in somewhere it had no right to be.

No, I have the habit of always pressing the shift-key together with my del-key... so, my recycle bin is almost always empty.

I also found out that I still have the file (at least I think this was THE file) but there's only some notes in it. So I guess I wanted to cut/paste my writings to another file, forgot about it and saved the now-nearly-empty file. *headdesk*
