Private Message to Lt. Cmdr. Jira

I might have to go about putting some influence where I can. I've managed one via the replicator, but it isn't as perfect as if it was standard.

And as to why - it looks good.

Bones waited until he absolutely had to before he went to see the Quartermaster about his new allocation of clothing. While Jim didn't seem to mind his pants fitting waaaaay too snug, Bones needed a little room around his crotch to breathe.

But he needed his pants, and the fact that the Quartermaster was a dead ringer for his ex-wife wasn't enough of a reason to walk around in tight pants.

Stepping into her office, Bones saw her behind her desk. "Hello," he called out. "You busy?"

Aurelan looked up mid-bite, motioning with her free hand when she saw the doctor walk in. Chewing quickly, she wiped her hands on a napkin and reached to clean out the chair next to her desk, which was filled with mismatched or damaged uniforms that had been turned in.

"Just taking care of some messages," she replied with a smile. "What can I do for you?" She was curious and a little wary, recalling their bizarre conversation a few weeks back, but he didn't seem as agitated today.

"Um, I need some pants," he told her, a little amused by her facial expressions. It was eerily familiar in a strange way, to see that face again, not glaring at him. He held up a pair that he was carrying. "I was sent the wrong size."

"Shouldn't be any problem," she told him as she accepted the pants. "Apparently there was a mix-up at supply headquarters, because you're not the first." She indicated the pile of uniforms she'd pushed aside.

Aurelan picked up a PADD and quickly accessed his information, wanting to make sure it was correct. "That the right size?" She tilted it toward him so he could see.
