So the fiance has a kidney stone. Which is like the most horrible thing to think about ever. Thinking about kidney stones produces in me a sensation akin to scratching my nails on a chalkboard while having my toenails ripped out. And I'm pretty sure it's worse for Mark

Hey honey. I'm sorry to hear about your future hubby! :-( Health problems blow, i should know. I totally hear you about getting claustrophobic. That's one of the things I love about california. There are so many great places within a few hours drive. But I definitely agree with you about the universal blah of the suburbs. That is the number 1 thing I love about Europe. You go to different towns and things look different, there are family owned businesses that have been there for hundreds of years. Its just so frustrating to drive through places and see everything the same.

I live near all those things now! mountain lakes, beutiful scenery and all... just how to get the courage to go exploring on my own??
