How often a litter box should be cleaned.

Litter boxes should be cleaned for more often than I clean them. Keeping a litter box clean promotes health in your cat by eliminating the need for the cat to stand in her own waste. Then she doesn't get poop on her feet and won't try to clean poop off of herself. Also, regularly cleaning a litter box helps keep the house smelling better. Litter often creates an ammonia smell in the house that even the fancy Yankee Candle air fresheners can't cover up.

This is all rather gross and is inspiring me to go clean out the litter box, except that it's dark outside. Really, it's inspiring me to look into the self-cleaning litter boxes. Those seemed pretty neat, and Garrett seems to like his pretty well. They are very expensive, however. It would be easier to get off my butt and just keep the litter box clean.

What is your ideal breakfast?

That's a tough one. There are many varieties of breakfast foods that I enjoy, but I like very small amounts of several different kinds of food at each meal. It would definitely have biscuits and white gravy, grits, and sausage. Then it get a little hairy. I would want it to have a bagel and cream cheese, hash browns, fruit, scrambled eggs with cheese, and some sort of danish as well. I also like hard-boiled eggs, and most mornings wake up craving just a bowl of cereal. Clearly the solution is to live at Louisiana School forever and continue to eat a cafeteria-style breakfast each day. Instead, most mornings I choose some pastry from Starbucks when I stop for coffee, and that is my breakfast. Breakfast is definitely my favorite meal of the day!
