So if a girl was about to get WoW and wanted to perhaps play with her good buddy MissCheetah, how would she go around doing that? [it'll be a month or so still but SO many people are telling me to play so I figured I'd give it a shot]
You would get WoW, make an character on Mannoroth, and then whisper Belladona. Filling out an app on the forums at www.cwal.org also works. Just be sure to tell me who you are :P
I will warn you that the guild is sort of full on rogues, hunters, and warriors as far as lvl 60 raiders go. If you want to raid it helps to play a class that there is space for. If you just want to hang out, we always want you on whatever class you wish to play :)
That having been said, priests/druids/pallys are niftykeen :P And we could use another mage too!
I think between the people that read here, we could give you a pretty good rundown of most of the classes if you were really interested (don't look at the official forums or site to make your class decision. Some of the stuff on the class lists on the official site is an outright lie, and most people in the class forums are just skillless hacks that want an IWIN button and whine because they don't have it)
Also, isn't there a free 2-week demo account (or something) that you can get from a full subscriber, that lets you get a taste of the game?

I think the reason we're holding off spamming the forums with all sorts of dijointed information is that we want to put it in one place on the main page.
What I was actually thinking about doing as a stopgap measure is eliminating the never-used "regular lounge" forum, and replacing it with a "Guild information" forum, which only officers, etc. can post to
we could move all the info (how to use CTRA, where to find DKP, the scheduler, etc.) into that one forum so at least everything is in one place.
Which should do two things
1) Hold us over until cwal.org v3.0 is ready for prime time 2) Once we ARE ready to bring cwal.org v3.0 live, we have all the information in one place, so we can just lift it right off the information forum instead of having to dredge up posts.
We could do that, yes. Make a forum just for documentation development. Collect all the useful posts there. However, we need to get our asses in gear and get the docs DONE. I suspect its all Ravage is waiting for.

I was around last night for a brief period, but there weren't really any other people on. Not surprising, since it was a Friday night. So instead, after my keyboard decided to stop working (again - chronic problem with WoW, and no UI installed this time) I went and hung out with a friend, and then we came back up here with my roommate and played some Halo 2 (yay swords!).

I kind of want to play, but I would never put that much time into it. That and I need a new video card.
