Parting is such sweet... sorrow?
So, today was my last day working here in China. I told my students about 20 minutes before school ended. It did not go over well. I had 8 girls breaking down in tears. I am so fucking aggravated. I keep trying to pay for a ticket to get home. I have one reserved to leave Monday. But, I can't get the money out of my got damned account in the states because I have a debit card, not an actual credit card. They don't take those here. So... You know.. once I have made my decision to come home things seem to be getting better. Maybe, I should have waited it out a bit. But, of course, I think I am also getting a bit of a thicker skin. So I applied to S. A. Independent School District. I checked their pay scale, and actually I wouldn't be making that much less than the other two districts I applied to.
