i can't even deal with how bizarre this place feels right now. both maddie and stephanie have packed up and moved to their new apartment. there is nothing left on their walls. maddie just left all of her food behind instead of dealing with the hassle of moving it, so i was just in the kitchen, helping myself to a can of her split pea and ham

i completely understand what you mean...for actually all of this post.
but 1- some girls have to do what is best for them. and if putting time into the sorority is taking away from things needed for graduation, she'll only be resentful and negative.
2- regardless of no. 1, its unbelievable how much 1 girls decision like that can affect the group.
3- good luck next year. things will pick up in the fall. a new president can change everything. plus recruitment is usually great for morale. (i'm kind of hoping the same for us)
