you won't know you're amazing at anything unless you actually get up and do it.

working can completely suck, but honestly its more liberating than anything else. parents generally have so much more respect for their kids if they are working and actually doing something constructive with their time. truuuust me, i've been called lazy and irresponsible and all that jazz because everyone expects me to be perfect 24/7.. and when you work and everything, you have so much more freedom. from a personal standpoint, the fact that i work 9-5 monday through friday translates into me being able to do whatever i want and go wherever i want pretty much when i'm not working. i don't need to rely on my parents for everything anymore and that totally rules.

obviously, everyone loves to have fun... and you're totally not a bad kid for feeling that way. the fact that you got into mason gross obviously shows that you're ambitious and talented, and the fact that you stuck with dancing for so long and worked so hard at it shows that you're serious
