ok, sometimes it is just too much. my dad is dying of cancer. he's going in for a high risk surgery in which he can likely die on the table or shortly afterwards (or go into a coma for who knows long) that i think is stupid. i don't want him to go this way, and neither does anyone else. erin totalled the volvo. our house is grand central station ( Read more... )

the last few days we've had my cousin kim over, i haven't seen her since august and it's been great to see her. i admire her a lot, and even though we don't get to see each other much thanks to our incredibly busy lives we're still fairly close. she was in shock over dad and had quite a hard time, but we also managed to have some good happy times ( Read more... )
