Recuperating from the weekend required logging 10+ sleep hours.
The Zzz's allowed me to have a very pleasant jog this morning.
A little extra morning time and I found myself sipping cappucinos with a dear friend at our favorite Vietnamese cafe.

Morning consisted of some overtime working followed by breakfast with my most favorite Joe Dear.
Had the car washed and took a nappy.
Dressed for the park and got free koozies/beer.
Now back downtown for VIP gaydom.

Overjoyed to report that my long awaited car journey has ended.
I no longer drive a 1990 Toyota Celica, I am now the proud owner of a 2005 Acura RSX.
She's got a sun roof, lovely tinting, killer sound and most important of all for the Texas heat, a bonafide A/C system that blows freezing air.

I should have recorded my thoughts yesterday, but here there are in a nutshell.
Woke up, dragged myself to work, had a short dept meeting in which my boss informed us she was invoking the uncommon and fairly inhumane practice known as :Mandatory Overtime:, bemoaned the idea of attempting to squeeze twenty five extra hours of work and 30 hours of ( Read more... ) -

Grad school
I just found out that I have an interview for the School Psychology Ph.D. program at UT Austin.
I'm overjoyed with this Christmas present.
25 people were selected for the interview and 10 will be accepted for admittance.
Wish me luck!
