Well I'm alive.

I've had my feet up as my ankles decided to swell to the size of melons.

I'm off to see the midwife today which I'm not looking forward to. Every time I go to see her I feel like she'll find something wrong. Paranoid much?

have you heard about The Christ? it's a movie about the last hours of Jesus' life before the Crucifixion - i've heard a lot of good things about it, and i agree after seeing the trailers...
i'll include a few links below. check these out, they moved me. i mean, if a TRAILER can make you cry, it's got to be some movie!

Hair. One of my pet peeves. Well, it's not hair that pisses me off, but societies obsession with hair removal. I'm going to tell you something shocking. I'm hairy. I don't shave, or wax, or electrocute the hair on my legs or in my pits, and definitely not what's down below. I'm not a feminist, I just don't understand what is so offensive about hair. I also don't see the point of removing something that is just going to grow back again.

I am somewhat hypocritical though, as I do shape my eyebrows. I'm just vain enough to care about my eyebrows, but not vain enough to care about my hairy legs. So, if I did have facial hair, i would probably remove it.

...and WTF is that first comment on about? Andrew, you're a fricken idiot.

I don't find hair shocking. Truth be told, if it wasn't for the fact that I am being constantly prodded and poked by the medical profession, you'd probably be able to plat my pits and dredd my leg hair.

I do pluck my eyebrows because I feel that the mono-brow is so monolithic.

And as for that first comment? well I had to leave it 'cause it was too amusing.

Also meant to say (but didn't because of my terminal stupidity), good news about your Mum - I thought she was going to be in hospital for a lot longer?

Ah that is the wonderous NHS for you. I think they 1. Need the bed space and 2. Mum is a lot sturdier that they anticipated. Her fracture and break are healing up much more quickly than they first thought it would and she is now walking with a zimmer frame. She is quite the spry old woman.
