holey shit girl...it that YOUR CLOSET????
damn, you put me to shame (and people accuse me of having too many clothes/shoes). I have to admit that i have waaaaay to many pieces of vintage clothing, but I don't really have that many vintage shoes anymore. Maybe a handful of silver sandals, some gogo boots etc.
Tell me more about your collection! How long have you been aquiring these beauties??

also, where do you live again??? i forget. I think you told me...

thank you miss Alex! yes it's my closet or shoe wall... (in my bedroom) i have way too many shoes and clothes myself. both vintage and new. most of the shoes on my wall are vintage since all my new ones have their own little box. i was trying to store them all in those little rubbermaid containers with a poloroid but the 'shoe box' sized one was too big for one pair of my little heels. it ended up taking more space that way. anyhoo, i really couldn't say how long i have been collecting vintage, 10+ years ? for clothes and maybe less for shoes, i used to shop all the flea markets and all the vintage shops regularly but not anymore. i have a lot of 40's platforms because those used to be my favorite i even have some from the estate of an old burlesque dancer and from an old jazz singer in new orleans. there's lots of 50's slingbacks and round toe babydoll pumps that look so much like one of marc jacobs collections from a few seasons ago and of course 60's pointy pumps/stilettos. i'll pick up the occasional 70's platform if its ( ... )

That's a mighty fine shoe collection. I rarely find cool vintage shoes at the shops here in Ohio...Especially because I wear a 9 and I swear, having a size 9 shoe is something new because everything I find are size 7 and under.

Thank you so much Natalie! Yeah, larger sizes are really hard to come by, I've only seen a few and when they come up on ebay the price goes right through the roof! I'm Rebecca by the way, nice to meetcha! :)
