Hmm well, I was going to give you some info on Naproxen and CTS but I see someone already beat me to it. ^-^
I hope everything goes alright, I've had CTS since I was sixteen (damn cash registers) and Naproxen isn't bad. I just suggest taking it with a glass of milk or something light like crackers as it can make you quite queasy if you take it on an empty stomach. It sometimes makes you quite drowsy so it's good if you plan on taking a nap. ^-^
so we're stuck with this forever, huh? have you had surgery for yours? everyone that's told me anything about CTS has said that everyone they know has had surgery for it. do you know what the statistics are for needing surgery?
i haven't had time to do an indepth search for information on CTS, and even put it on the backburner since i had folks dropping info all over the place. it's back on the frontburner now. i'll probably start combing the web for info after i get out of class tonight.
anyway, thanks for the advice about the Naproxen. one question though, how long before i get feeling in my fingers again? any idea? i forgot to ask the doc.
might want to try

I had some tingling in my fingers when I was finishing my computer science degree. 24-7 of computer usage will do that to you. One of my friends told me about some gloves that helped them. You can get them at Office Depot. They do not have fingers and have cushions on the ball of the palms. They are comfortable and they keep your hands warmer too.
I also used some ones I found in the craft section of Wal-Mart. They would be close to the needles & cross-stitch. They also do not have fingers, but they are rather tight. It helped a lot because my wrists would kill me when I moved them a certain way.
