Getting prepared for activity

I have my follow up with the gastro on Nov 5, likely to talk about endoscopy/colonoscopy since I've had neither. But his talk with me seems to imply that while I need weight loss and more activity to combat the fatty liver disease, there's nothing we should do about my liver bumps for now except keep an eye on them. It's interesting to see how much just regular walking around on an average day stacks up. So far I'm about to 2000 steps from going to work and home. Nowhere close to the 10K goal but I wasn't aiming for that today anyway with the knee.

Good for you for getting active. I wear a Garmin watch that tracks steps, but also walks, bike rides and runs. I would like one that measures swim laps (or - even better - open water swims), but I’m too cheap. If you are mostly just walking and have your phone with you, it’s probably good enough. That’s all I used for years.

Sounds like you're doing everything right.

When you prepare for a colonoscopy mix the nasty powder with distilled. This tip from the pharmacist made it WAY more drinkable for me last time.
