This week just got progressively worse for JuneBug, to the point that even the anti-nausea/anti-vomiting was doing nothing and she couldn't keep anything down and she didn't want to eat. She was looking more and more miserable so Emily helped me get her out from under the bed so that I could take her in for her last visit this morning

Looking at her in the carrier, I get the sense that she was ready for the one-way trip. Not that that makes it any easier.

Well she always looks worried but yeah, doing the hail mary treatment of steroids would probably have only bought her a little more time and more pain. Wasn't going to do that to her even though it seemed like she wanted to stick around (kiddo, if only I had a magic wand)

Aw man, yes, these sorts of events tend to group themselves together. Junie was a beautiful kitty and I hope happy memories of her and your parents bring you comfort.
