Question about distribution lists - Microsoft Outlook 2007

Nov 28, 2007 11:02

I know, I know...

I've figured out how to set them up, however, when I ran a test message the receivers see all of the email addresses.

Is it possible to avoid tripping a spam filter for an email that has 60-100 recipients?

Send the email to yourself and then blind cc the rest.

Yes, but isn't that just hiding the addresses from the recipient, not the spam filter? Can't the filter see all of the bcc's?

Not sure.

Use Bcc:. The receiving server only sees the addresses that are local to it, and any per-user filters only see their own address plus whatever is in To: and Cc:, so this should avoid recipient limits.

Great, thanks for the info.

You know I gave you the same info I just get ignored. I see how it is here! Just because I know very little about this sort of stuff...

Clearly I am unloved.
