Oh, no, indeed! I've seen you wear the necklace and it was quite nice. I have to say that this happened to me this fall, too. My father gave me a nice charm bracelet with hope and believe charms and I lost it like a week later.
I have frequently lost things. In fact, so much I was afraid to buy anything nice for myself because I had been convinced by myself and others I would just lose or destroy anything nice I got. Then I decided that even if that was true, I would enjoy the time I had with the object.
