Let's start the Delena revolution
Hi everyone...
I have just decided that I want to start and lead the Damon/Elena (Delena) revolution. Whatever is needed for our ship to be heard, I will do it and I need as many of you as possible to help me with this cause.
I believe in Delena so strongly that I need to show the world how awesome and right they are. But I cant do this alone.
As you all know, our show "The Vampire Diaries" is on the CW, and there is a forum on the CW where the writers can see what the fans say about the show, the ships etc. The porblem is that the CW forum kinda sucks so there is not many Delena fans there, and generally that forum doesnt show the REAL proportions of what is going on in our fandom.
I know there has been a previous post about this Poll going on in the CW forum, but I want to remind you of it.
At first I thought that I would want to get in to that and give myself a headache trying to argue with Damon/Bonnie and Stefan/Elena fans, but that was wrong of me. I realized that if we want our ship to be the leading ship, the most popular one, the most epic ship on this show, we have to work a little for it.
So no I am asking all of you, my fellow DE shippers to vote in this poll, to post a COMMENT about why Delena is better, why Bamon is not our cup of tea and just why we love Delena so much. It doesnt take much effort to show our love for Delena. But it will make a huge impact - at least I think so. We need to show those Bamon fans whose ship is real and whose ship that is made-up in their little fantasies.
Maybe I am a little crazy or maybe you think I am taking this too seirously, but trust me, if we dont do something about the growin "Bamon"-love, we might lsoe out to them. Yes, it's not always the good guys who win. We need to make sure that Delena is on top.

All right. I just came on here to see this insane madness goin on. But I will tell you what I think about this riddiculous question.
Because Damon/Bonnie is a made-up fantasy ship. It's not even canon.
Of course should Damon end up with Elena, because she's like his match. Elena is a fiery, passionate and brave young woman who doesnt even know HOW strong she is until Damon comes along and brings it out of her.
Bonnie on the hand is a whiney little crying weakling who by some stroke of lucky accident got the GENES from her family to be a witch. It doesnt mean that she is a strong character, because she is certainly NOT!!!!!!!
If any of you "Bamon" fans have read the books you would know EXACTLY what I am talking about when I say these things about Bonnie. Bonnie cries a LOT. She cries ALL THE TIME, and she even says so herself. Sometimes she cries so much that she is sick and tired of herself for crying this much.
She has always been DEADLY terrified by Damon, she hated the idea of him for several books (4 books) to be exact, and then in the 5th book she suddenly decides that she wants him to saver her life and when he does (because he cares for human life and not for Bonnie specifically), she kisses him ONE TIME!!!
Remember, Elena and Damon had a loooong way through all those 5 books where they have had a great build-up to their story where Damon has to earn Elena's trust again and again, and where Damon never ever gives up on Elena even though she continues to reject him to be with Stefan. But Damon doesnt give up because he loves her more than anything - he screwed over Katherine to save Elena's life (in the third book), and he knows what is inside Elena of strength and fire and power and he wants her for all those things. And they never kissed until the END of the 5th book. Building up the love story between Damon and Elena is the important part here. They just have this amazing story that is still developing while Damon and Bonnie never really interacted until the 5th book.
To the point where you say that Elena is too WEAK for Damon and that she doesnt stand up for herself, you are LAUGHABLE, all of you, yeah...
Elena is the girl who slapped Damon twice, and one of those times she slapped him AFTER knowing that he is a vampire and after knowing what he could do to her - he could have killed her. Yet she didnt care, she was brave enough to insult him again and again and t slap him and to be angry and mad at him without hesitation. And Damon didnt hurt her even though he could have. He wouldnt do that, because he cares about her.
Bonnie is strong and stands up for herself? NO!
Bonnie was terrified in the scene where Damon was just TALKING to her by the car and he wanted the crystal back. She looked like she was going to faint and throw up or something. She was so scared of him.
And Damon actually tried to KILL Bonnie, he didnt care about her. When she destroyed the crystal and his chance to get back his beloved Katherine, he wanted to kill her.
In the end comes the chemistry. I see NONE, ZERO chesmitry between the characters Bonne and Damon and between the actors Ian and Katerina. I am sorry to break it down t you, but the best chemistry on this show is between Ian and Nina (Damon and Elena) and EVERYONE who reviews this show agrees with me. they have KILLER chemistry that can burn anything and anyone in their way. I am not worried for Damon and Elena on the show, trust me I am not, because I know that we will get to see them together - a lot. But we need the right build-up and we will get it, I am sure of this.
My last words will be these: I actually think that the bigger part of you "Bamon" fans voting here are just Stefan/Elena fans who want Damon out of the way.
This is the FIRST step in the Delena revolution. I will tell you whenever there is anything else we can do, any campaign to gain more strength to the Damon/Elena camp.
