How do you feel about D&D gaming, online gaming with friends & E.T.

I mean, really, what kind of joiner freak, are you?

Or, aren't you? More to the point, tell us what you do like and suggest music I should be listening to.

Hehehe, wahahaha! The whole issue is funny to me bc I have never been the kind of person to cram my opinions/likes/dislikes down anyone's throat, so its odd its happening on this subject with these folks. I give credit where credits due though- I mean, these are some serious fans! Oh and D & D? That's a whole other cult all together, ain't it?

I've been able to define myself by saying I'm not into Gaming, (D&D/Mudds) football, James Bond, car engine/make/model, or put down conversations regarding the other gender and sex...and by staying away from such conversations, I've successfully dated. What is interesting is this doesn't just change what people tend to talk about, but how they approach conversations entirely. The students for social responsibility shared cubicle walls with the gamers guild in college.

Your dead on here- It is not the content so much as the approach to it. No one is ever in FULL agreement on every aspect of an interest, dislike or topic are they? I (as many can) have had some odd conversations where beliefs on a subject are all at completely opposite ends of the spectrum for one reason or another, but the presentation was respectful and respectable in turn. IE I don’t like Star Wars but another does, and if we have a conversation about it I AM genuinely interested to hear what it is that they enjoy about it bc I may not be “getting it”,but I would love to hear what it is they enjoy about it, if that makes any sense at all . . .I know perhaps its asking a bit much but I don’t like to get into defensive conversations like the type that these guys started with me last week. Unfortunately I was really no better in the end bc my response was far from logical or respectful I think, sigh.
