I just came here to blow some dust off this thing. And maybe update people on my life a little.

Or maybe not. What the heck do you guys want to know that you haven't managed to pick up from FaceBook, Twitter, or Tumblr?

I'm singing in a friend's wedding in May.

This is my dress (color will be cocoa).


Debating on what I'll be wearing under the dress.

I mostly wonder if you are still married and where you are living and how your kids are! I am not on FB all the time so I don't really garner much info about your life anymore. :(

I am still married, but it's one of those crazy situations that needs a lot more explaining than an LJ comment can provide. Wishing we were closer, I'd love to sit and chat with you for DAYS.

Kids are doing well. Ayn is 13 now, with his 14th birthday right around the corner. So far, being the mother of a teenage boy has gone relatively smoothly. Especially when that boy has the kinds of issues Ayn has. He's taller than I am and has bigger feet than all of us. He still insists he knows me and likes to hug me, so all is good with him.

Timmy is 11, and just as short as ever. Still my cuddle monster. He has decided he now LOVES to read and I can't get him books fast enough. So glad he has picked that up!

Danica is 10. And tall. Very tall. Taller than Timmy. People who don't know us think Danica is older than Timmy. She breezes through school as if it's the easiest thing ever. She never stops dancing.

It sounds like everyone is doing really well. I am particularly pleased to see that Ayn is doing so well, considering his age and his issues.

I always think that Danica is older than Timmy, and that she's really, like 12. I always thinks he's two years older than she really is! XD

I've been wondering about the married thing, too. Looking back in your LJ, unless I missed one, your last real entry was about you moving out. From FB, it sounds like you're hanging out together or... something... but I never wanted to just come out and ask on there.

So yeah, I'd love a proper update!

To me, FB and Twitter are usually like overhearing snippets of conversation. LJ is more like sitting down and having a conversation. I want my friends back on LJ, dammit! :-)
