Excitement!!!

I received my level one Reiki attunement back in July. It was a pretty interesting experience for me. Part of it was frustrating, but it turned out to be a lesson in patience and trusting in myself. My inner child threw a bit of a fit that weekend.

I've never been sure how to feel about Reiki. I had it done to me once, by a group. (As in, more than one person doing it at a time.) They put me on another ("recovery"?) table when I was done and I started feeling AWFUL. Pretty much insta-flu (headache, fever, chills, feeling like death) that lasted for the next few days.

The friend that took me said that meant that it worked really well. I can see that point of view, but still, wasn't a fun experience...

Everyone reacts to it differently, but I've never seen anyone react quite that way to it. I've had various types of energy work done on me in classroom settings and have never had a poor reaction to it.

My elderly friend reacts differently depending on who is working on her. Every session I have with her, she ends up in the bathroom for 15 minutes feeling miserable and then feels great immediately after that.

Your business partner (I can't remember her name, she came I your wedding) worked on my ears for a few minutes and I was extremely pleased the entire week I was there.
