   Thunderbolt and Lightning

The lightning flashed, the whole room lit for less than a second before they were pitched in darkness once again. A roll of thunder shook the room, the photo frames trembling on the wall like delicate buttercups on a breezy day.

Lynn Hasser sat on the sofa, legs curled beneath her, a cushion hugged to her chest. At eighteen years old, Lynn was beautiful. Her blond curls fell around her shoulders and down her back. Her boyfriend, David Burkley, got to his feet from beside her, running a hand through his dark hair. It was 1975 and the couple was lodging at the Hasser cabin out on the lake, owned by Lynn’s dad, Frank. They were supposed to have left earlier that night, before the storm hit. Now, they couldn’t get out and no one could get in.

‘Maybe I should light a fire?’ he said, carefully stepping over the dark room to the fireplace. He knelt down and started to work the fire as the rain hit the window hard and another strike of lightning filled the room.

‘I’m scared,’ she said, flinching at the clap of thunder that shook the room. The storm seemed directly overhead.

David laughed, giving her a grin over his shoulder as the fire started to smolder. Her heart tightening to her chest slightly and she couldn’t help but smile back. He got the fire lit and it roared, the light flickering across David’s features, causing him to look more ruggedly handsome than before.

He rose to his feet and strode across the wooden floor to the sofa. David sat and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. Lynn leaned into him, snuggling up. She shut her eyes, inhaling his familiar and comforting scent. ‘I love you,’ she murmured.

David grinned, leaning down to catch her mouth. ‘I love you too.’ His hand found her waist and he tugged her closer, pulling her up until she was draped over him. His hand snuck up the back of her shirt, feeling heated skin.

‘David, we shouldn’t,’ she giggled, pulling away slightly. The fire crackled in the grate.

‘I want to,’ he murmured, voice low and husky. Lynn’s smile faded a little.

‘David-’

‘I want to,’ he repeated and lowered his mouth to hers again. A flash of lightning lit up the room again as David gently set Lynn back, shifting to hover above her. She was gripping his arms, trembling like a fragile baby bird beneath him. Her shirt rode up a little and his hands found her warm skin once more. He rubbed her sides gently, trying to calm her.

He kissed her with more force; they’d been together for nearly two years now and she’d refused to do anything, but kiss. A religious girl with a religious father, both who stubbornly believed in no sex before marriage. But… David couldn’t wait that long! He was a Burkley, for Christ sake. Normally, he wouldn’t wait around two years with any girl, but Lynn Hasser had taken his breath away and he was well and truly in love. But two years without sex was hard for any man.

Tonight could be the night.

‘I’m scared,’ Lynn suddenly murmured. ‘We shouldn’t. My pa-’

‘Isn’t here,’ he said smoothly, cutting her off. ‘Just you, me, the storm and a nice, hot fire.’ She was pushing his shoulders with her hands, but her legs were tight around his waist and he could see the look of indecision on her face. He smiled, leaning forward and nibbling her jaw.

‘You’re safe with me. I love you.’ He met her lips in a fierce kiss and instead of pushing him away, she pulled him closer to her.

His hands were swiftly going for her jeans, pulling at the buttons and tugging down the zipper. She bit his bottom lip gently, tugging him backwards on the couch. He pinned her below him, pressing her into the cushions. David let his lips run along her jaw line, hands gripping her waist.

Lynn pushed her hips up against him, a low moan escaping her lips as she felt him shift against her. His hands easily slipped her jeans down, as she raised her hips a little to help him. His teeth were nipping at her collarbone. Lynn ran her hands through his hair as he shifted to pull his own trousers off. This was quickly followed by his shirt, until he was hovering bare above her.

Lynn lay back, panting hard, another crack of lightning filling the scene with a bright burst. His muscles on his chest were toned and hard, his arms trembling slightly as he held himself up.

Slowly, her eyes mapped his chest, following the dark hair that spiralled downwards and the thick, hard cock which was jutting upwards. Her breath caught in her throat and she was scared, because surely that was too big to fit into her petite body. David seemed to sense her fear and gave a soft smile.

‘It’ll be good. I promise,’ he murmured, leaning down to kiss her. He knelt up and with his hands, carefully pulled her shirt over her head. He tossed it on the floor and leaned back down against her; their naked bodies lay entwined on the sofa, the heat of the fire warming them easily. David let his lips caress her chest. He took a nipple in his mouth, tonguing it until it became hard.

Lynn shut her eyes as David trailed his hands down her stomach to grip her thigh. She moved her leg so he could tug them off, before he kissed her stomach, shifting lower to kiss her inner thigh.

‘David,’ she mumbled, her thighs parting as if they had minds of their own. Her heart was beating hard in her chest, so hard that she was surprised he couldn’t hear it. Her hands trailed over his neck, gripping his hair as he started to tongue her. Her body stiffened, back arching and her eyes fluttered shut. She moaned, but it was lost in the thunder.

David sat up on his knees and shifted upwards. He reached down, guiding the head of his cock to her soaking heat. Lynn trembled beneath him. ‘Kiss me,’ he murmured softly.

The fire crackled and the lightning flashed. The rain rattled the windows.

Lynn leaned up and kissed him as he pressed into her. She wanted to scream, but he kept kissing her, kept murmuring to her over and over, things she didn’t even hear because of the thunder; she could only feel the comforting heat of his breath in her ear before he took to her mouth again.

He sank deeper, one hand moving to raise her legs around his waist. Lynn gave an indignant hiss and nipped his bottom lip. ‘It hurts.’

‘It’ll get better. I promise,’ he said, and kissed her again. Finally, he’d pushed fully in and they lay there, unmoving for a few minutes. Finally, Lynn kissed him hard and rolled her hips and...

A low moan rolled from the back of her throat, her head falling back. ‘David, please,’ she begged.

He kissed her on the lips, in an almost desperate way as he began to pull out, thrusting back in. Lynn clawed his back, pushing back against him. He fucked her hard as she desperately clung to him, low moans falling from her lips with every push.

David nipped her throat, before sucking on her neck, marking her over and over, claiming her as his. Because she was his. He loved Lynn Hasser and he wasn’t prepared to let her go anytime soon.

David sunk into her again, teeth biting down on her shoulder.

Lynn gasped, gripping his shoulders as he moved with her; within her.

He thrust into her, kissing her neck and sucking her pulse point and Lynn arched her back and pushed back against him. He murmured incoherent words against her skin.

She couldn’t think; her mind was on the pleasure rippling through her, the feel of his skin against hers, their bodies moving in unison and the moans and the groans…

When Lynn woke, sunlight was beaming in through the window, making her wince slightly. Rubbing sleep out her eyes, she glanced to the side. David was stirring, a slight frown on his face. Lynn stretched, and then rolled onto her side. Sometime during the night, they’d found a couple of blankets and now curled up naked and entwined together on the rug in front of the slowly dying fire, the blankets kicked down by their feet.

Lynn met David’s gaze and he was grinning. She blushed a deep red as the events of last night came back to mind. David kissed her brow and pulled her into his chest.

Lynn shut her eyes, listening to the steady beat of his heart, a soft smile on her lips. She couldn’t help, but grin.

Love. It was a funny thing, but with David, she wouldn’t change it for the world.
