Should I study German or French next year? Answer and if you wouldn't mind, state a brief, but legitimate reason for your answer.

go with french. I've studied both and I found french to be a lot easier with grammar and speaking in general.

Disregarding practicality of where you want to travel, probably French since it's easier since it's a romance language and especially since you already know Spanish, it'll be mad easy. Unless, of course, you're looking for a bit of a challenge, which I think German could be.

Yeah true. I thought about how the romance languages are all kind of similar. I am soo stuck in the middle. I can see advantages to each one.

Well, you could always see how you like French and since you already know Spanish, you could probably learn that faster than you could German and after French, you could always move onto German. Or simultaneously, if French comes really easily.
