Hmm... in what interviews and commentary did the actors say that Xena and Gabrielle were lesbians? Because I saw all the interviews and commentary and definitely got the impression that they see the whole lesbian thing as a joke and that if anything they both kind of dig the Xena/Ares pairing (in the "Coming Home" interview especially).

Hmm well there's the commentary on "A Day in the Life" (That's the only episode I've watched with the audio commentary so far...need to get my butt in gear)
And then the interviews on.... "Fins, Femmes, and Gems", "Been There Done That", and I believe in "The Debt Two". I still have yet to watch interviews after "Fins".
There are interviews mentioned from TV shows/fan club/ and other sources too that said it..um...I think you can find that stuff on Whoosh.com (or is it .net,.org, I dunno, I can never remember). The Ares/xena I never thought they were going for but then again I do have more interviews to see ^^
