i got up this morning at 9:00 (on three hours' sleep), took a shower, and went to a lecture on Browning and Tennyson. i get to the lecture and it's a guest lecturer who specializes in realist poetry and the dramatic monologue (and the monodrama, naturally). so i'm thinking, "okay. i got up early and i'm really tired but it's going to be worth it."
