While working through a passage of The Aeneid today, I read about someone in flight surpassing the swift Hebrus, which according to one of my books is a "slow Thracian river which Vergil thought fast." It just cracks me up to think of Vergil writing about the swiftness of what is in reality a slow river and that the author of this particular book ( Read more... )

cause you're gonna see me! fall break coolness. we will buy fresh hot pretzels and watch The Man Who Knew Too Much. or some other non sequitur (Latin roots there).
