He wasn't that bad looking without it on, it's just that everyone thought he was. I mean, "keep your hand at the level of your eyes" is a pretty clear indication that they thought his disfigurment would curse you or something. That makes me think of The Laughing Man

I think I found it while lj hopping (I do that a lot). I think you left a comment with it or something, I really can't remember where. I just thought it was cool because it was well done and about CLUE.

Understudies are a good idea, but it'd be ridic

I'm glad your using it! I thought of you when I found it :)
It's true that real hardcore understudies would be insane, but just some sort of system would be practical. When Jessica Brown almost couldn't play her part last year, the best idea was to use two different people to play it, costumes would have be messed up and the show would have been completely comprimised. Considering how much of a control freak Ms. Farrell is I'm very surprised she hasn't adresses the issue.
