I'm still reading through all the previous installments of this saga. Once I'm done, I'll definitely read this one as well. You're such a good writer. :-)
Wow thank you so much! So thrilled that you're reading The Ace Chronicles! It's taken years for me to write them all, but each one helped me to get better and better (I hope! Lol)
Let's see... I've just finished the one with the whole saga involving Michael McGruder and the colony, and Rimmer learning that he had a son. I hate to criticize Doug, but god you did such a better job making the whole reunion of a father and son who had never met, SO much more believable. And your version of Michael feels like a real person. I never cared for the character in Last Human, because he always felt very shoehorned in to me. "Oh and Rimmer has a son, and here he is! Ok, that's enough of that!" Your version was so much more real. Him feeling like he had to stay disconnected from his descendants got me right in the feels. In a way, his story is even more tragic than Rimmer's.
Wowza, so you're a fair way into it then! That'll be Blurry, I'm pretty proud of that. *proud face* But I agree with you, in the books he's soooooooo two-dimensional. I figured he'd share a lot of the same sort of personality traits as Rimmer...and I really liked how he shaped up as a character. Thank you so much for the amazing feedback, I really really appreciate it <3
My particular pride and joy is the next one - Rimmer's Return (which funnily enough I actually wrote before Blurry!) Can't wait to hear your thoughts on that one!

Just needed to remind myself of the storyline and psych myself up for the pulse-pounding suspense first. ;)

I know... *sigh* I've hardly helped to keep the flow and suspense up with such irregular updates! I'm on the case...
