Good grief, I'd forgotten how much I enjoy writing gun porn *satisfied sigh*

I still remember your descriptions of Rimmer's pair of handguns and I like to imagine at least one is strapped to one of those thigh holsters. You have as much or more fun writing the gun stuff as I do with him. Although, I cheated when I did and gave him phaser-type instead so I wouldn't have to worry about running low on bullets. It's a shortcut, but not as challenging as you having to come up with ways for him to conserve bullets a la Deadpool. :-)

*sigh* Thigh gun porn....ABSOLUTELY

I've always written him as having a spare stash load on his belt for one or two reloads max but yeah. Having to keep count is a bit annoying...

Thanks for having the patience of a saint and continuing to follow this fic.

I've left a belated comment. The truth is, I was somewhat traumatised by an earlier chapter and now approach with caution as I need to be in the right frame of mind.

TL;DR: I'm a wimp. ;)

Oh dear! Was it a particular event? Or some shockingly awful writing? 😂

It was the chapter where holo!Rimmer gets infected by the holo-virus. I just found it edge-of-the-seat in both a very good and a scary way.

"Traumatised" is probably too strong a word. Just I don't know which chapter all this is going to come to a head in, what will happen to holo!Rimmer - and nano!Rimmer - and if anyone I care about will die.

Like I said, I'm a wimp. I just sometimes have to mentally prepare myself when reading RD fic where the stakes are higher than usual and the characters are in genuine danger which is quite unusual in RD writing. :)

Hence why it took me over a week to read your latest chapter. ;)

I see! Sorry that you're finding it uncomfortable reading at times but a part of me is happy that the writing is able to have that effect (you know what I mean - when you think readers won't invest in what you're writing/thinking 'boooo-riiiiing' etc)

The next chapter I'm going to upload will be more sedate as it's the final calm before the storm, but the ones after that will be the more urgent/dramatic final confrontation ones if that helps?
