1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.

3. Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte

Middlemarch, Possession and Bleak House are some of my absolute favorite books, and Dorothea Brooke is my favorite character of ever (well...favorite in that I want to emulate her). Anna Karenina scares me with its many names.

I've read a third of Middlemarch last year, and I have it as an audiobook read by ze lovely Harriet Walter. So far, I do love Dorothea lots. And yeah, it did take a while and a lot of concentration to get through Anna Karenina. Enjoyed it though. Angst & pretty ballgowns in the deep Russian snow.

Ooooh, this one is fun. It also reminded me I should really really finish War and Peace this summer *she said for the fourth summer in a row*.

poster above: I don't know you but oh how I love your Bergman icon!

Back to the task at hand: Oh my goodness, go out and read 'Madame Bovary' now! Have you seen the Chabrol film with Isabelle as Madame B? ( I really can't believe you haven't... knowing how much love Isabelle)... I love her so much in it, she's too old to play her and looks nothing like how Emma is described but she's so absolutely perfect that it doesn't matter one tiny bit.

Oh, yes, I have seen Madame Bovary avec Isabelle. She was exquisite.

I shall put the book on my 'To Read' list. :)

Oh, that's a great idea. I'll have to wait a few weeks to finish the books I have on the go already and finish a fic I'm trying to write. I hope my library has it!
