Happy Turkey Day Americans!

Nov 27, 2008 20:10

Y'all gotta watch the Thanksgiving song and play from Addams Family Values. When I go to my friend's Thanksgiving meal tomorrow, I am making them watch this. I get it stuck in my head when I think of America's hallowed day of eating & thankfulness.

Hey- I just found out about mrs.robinson closing when I talked to poeticinsanity yesterday. She mentioned that you might restart but that if you didn't that I should. I was just wondering where you were at on that project and maybe if you wanted to work on something collaboratively.
I know the main problems as to why it was deleted and I think that I could prevent them fairly easily- I've tried a certain brand of modding in my other communities and I've hardly ever had any problems. I also have a few new ideas I'd like to add.
I just thought I'd touch base with you- I had thought about restarting before I found out you were considering it as well, but thought that collaboratively we could make it even greater.
What do you think?
I certainly couldn't go it alone, I had talked to two other members that I trust about doing it, but none of us are layout people. ( :

Ooh- okay, I just checked and indigo_inferno messaged me that halfbloodme has started another community because she was so outraged that it was cancelled before.
I'm not sure how permanent it is, though, or if its just until someone restarts the old one basically. It's called mrsrobinsonlove.

Thanks for the heads-up and for asking me if I'm interested in co-modding. Very thoughtful of you. I think I'll just stay a member this time. All you guys will do a terrific job. :)

PS - mullally was responsible for our journal layout. Maybe if asked nicely, she'd make the new comms all snazzy.

I knooooow. I greeted all my American friends with 'Happy Turkey Day' and then a rousing rendition of the whole song. Genius film, genius scene and ahahahaha Christine. I was re-watching this film the other day and realised that I can quote along with like 95% of the film. XD
