"It wasn't worth it."

I finally got round to watching the BSG episode Sacrifice just now.

And despite knowing exactly what was going to happen, I'm sitting here in tears.

Commander Adama, you were a complete knob, because for one, autopsy scars are a blatant giveaway a person's been dead for a while ( Read more... )

*Sobs* The heart-break has never left me, and I've not forgiven Adama, Lee or Dee yet.

The morgue seen is so powerful.

Something tells me it's going to take an awful lot for me to forgive Adama and Dee.

That morgue scene really is a powerful scene, made all the more powerful by Mary's little thing of straightening the hair, she's just trying to hold on so badly 'cause otherwise she'd completely break. You can feel her anger towards Bill, and I like that he had the decency to shut the hell up and not try to comfort her.

I liked that too. He knows he completely frakked up out of concern for his son, and because of it, Laura's 'son' died. He can never take that back, and he can never take away the pain she feels. It would be pointless to reach out and try comfort her, and it would probably just piss her off even more.

doesn't Mary just about break your heart! I swear, even though it's just a tiny wee scene, she completely steals the episode :P she's so amazing and Bill is sooo stupid for doing that and as Laura said 'it wasn't worth it'

I knew also exactly what was going to happen from Epiphanies on but when I saw the episodes I didn't expect half of the stuff :P

omg, i LOVED that scene!!! She is just sooooo amazing. I was crying so hard. I really want them to talk more about that plot twist in S3. She needs to have some sort of thing with Bill, but now Billy's death is kind of in the way. or is it? you know what i mean? you just can't really tell how she feels towards him a year later. I remember Mary saying once that she also wanted the writers to address the emotional aspect of Billy's death a little bit more.

and besides the fact that i seriously think Dee is a cylon, I will never forgive her for what she did. I can forgive Adama, cause I have a soft spot for him, but Dee...no way. (My stepdad wants me to start a website because he is totally convinced that she is a cylon...www.deeisacylon.com...pretty weird guy, huh. lol)

I'd love it if Billy's death got dealt with a little more in Season 3. Now she's not President, she would be able to break down a little bit and talk about her feelings. I don't want Adama and Roslin to get together in Season 3, and if they have to get together at all, I'd much rather it be in the last ever episode of the entire show. I much prefer UST to RST, and sometimes when two characters get into a relationship, the show kinda jumps the shark. God, I need to analyse how exactly I feel about Bill and A/R.

Pretty weird guy, yeah. ;)

I would've put it behind a cut but I assumed that even you must know what happens.
Oh, you will definitely cry, definitely, because you like well-acted angst and Mary knocks this one right out of the park.
