Shopping and buying things will make you feel happier, it is a scientific fact. Or if it isn't, it should be.
Hee, I've worn glasses since about the same age, though I only needed them full-time since about 6. My eyes just get worse ;)
You have red nail varnish on your fingers?! I may be a teensy bit jealous. I just have the pretty long nails. The school people say no to anything else.
Eeee for colour layers and late-night chocolate cake!
Going shopping and actually finding pretty things I want is 100% guaranteed to make me happy, it has been thus from the dawn of time and will be thus for all eternity.
Oh I have worn them full time from 2 and a half, only ever take them off for bed or swimming. One of my eyes was stronger than the other, I had a slight lazy eye and I can't for the life of me remember whether I'm short or long sighted. Suffice it to say, I have dodgy eyes, though they've improved so much.
Oh our school didn't allow coloured nail polish either, so up until GCSEs I wore clear or nude polish. Come Sixth Form though, they were vamp red from the outset. I love it, I've always wanted hands/nails worthy of an elegant Disney villainess, hehe (oh my, doesn't that just speak volumes?).
There's nothing like a shopping spree to lift your mood! Sorry to hear about the prom pictures - but it's good that your photos of you and your friends came out nicely. My parents take tons of photos but the shots I like the best are the ones of me and my friends...in five years I'll want to remember all the fun we had.
My mother and I hit the sales yesterday too - I got a new bathing suit...so my shopping trip ended up being rather depressing :( But I got a pretty shirt and sunglasses that made up for it!
And if shopping fails, there's always slashy fic to put you in a better mood! Good luck with the ficathon!
Thanks darlin. Yeah, I love photos of me and my friends. It's nice to look through them when you're feeling low and reminding yourself that people love you.
Oh yummy slashy fic, s'like prozac. Except when you're trying to write it and make it as good and smart and hot as possible, then it's just a biatch. the deadline's the 26th and I've just gone back to the drawing board with it, so the luck is most appreciated. :D
