"You're devilishly beautiful."

Under this cut lies a picspam of the incomparably stunning Kristin Scott Thomas in Arsene Lupin, which contains some of the most beautiful costumes I have ever seen, in addition to the beauteous wonder that is Kristin. Thank God for French casting directors who gave us the chance to salivate over Kristin being all sexy, evil & diabolical! I ( Read more... )

Oh God. She really has the most beautiful bone structure. Damn!

I feel like watching The English Patient now, lol.

I know! So absolutely stunning. And those eyes, those eyes! *is enthralled*

I think that's a very good urge to have. Though it does mean you'll have to sit there and weep uncontrollably at the end...oh poor Katharine. :(

Yeah, I think that's gotta be the most heart breaking movie ever. Even more than Remains of the Day...at least, to me, lol.

Yup, more heartbreaking than even that. It's just....someone as pretty as Kristin shouldn't die!!! It's just not right! *sniffles*

It is so bursting with pretty THAT I CAN BARELY BREATHE.

It's a French action film based on these books about a gentleman thief and Kristin is very sexy and very eeevil in it.

These caps are so very beautiful... I'd say which are my favourites but I really cannot choose... some of these might, I believe, become icons very soon :).

Oh, and I finished GN. It melted my brain in the best possible way and I believe I shall re-read it on many, many happy occasions. It's been a while since I read a book I liked this much. Have now started Busman's Honeymoon because I could not resist :).

Ohh, icons would be much appreciated and joyfully squeaked over. ;)

YEY!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, how absolutely wonderful. That is exactly how I felt after finishing it. I sat in a daze on my bedroom floor, just full of love for the book in my hand. I don't think I have ever liked a book as much before, never. HE PROPOSES IN LATIN! AND THEY GO TO THE CONCERT AND HIS HAND RESTS ON HER KNEE AND OH, SO PERFECT!!
Busman's Honeymoon will also melt your brain with love. They make the most wonderful married couple, and are so adorable to read about. *flails with joy*

PS- I bought another copy of 'Strong Posion' today (along with a book of Lord Peter short stories) from a tiny secondhand bookshop. I couldn't leave it languishing on the shelf, not when it had such a darling photo of Harriet as Harriet on the back cover. And they were only £1.20 each too.

Oh my god, rarely have I squeed as much over ANYTHING as over those words "Placetne, magistra?" "Placet."... such a fantastic way to put it, I am so filled with love. Also, they sang "Greensleeves", which made me ridiculously happy as I have had an inexplicable love for that song for about thirteen years now... *squee*. My Gaudy Night has a picture of Harriet as Harriet too, by the way. Eeeh :D.

Women with amazing bone structure always age so beautifully. *swoons* Her daughter has her eyes; she is SO LUCKY to have those genes passed down!!

Ohhh, you HAVE to see this film. You can get it on dvd from amazon.com.

Two little thoughts I just had....

a) you're missing a cap from one of the best moments in the film (which only a French film would have), which is when Arsene carries the Countess out of the water and her dress kind of... falls off. So hot, without being gratuitous nudity.

b) Have you seen Man to Man? Because that is such a great film, one of the best films Kristin has made imho. And it's got superhot period costumes in it too. Oh, and it's English so you can get it from amazon.fr and not worry about the subtitles unless you want to watch KST dub herself in French and swoon over the hotness all over again *erhem*

a) Damnit, yes! That cap was even in the folder I made up for the caps I wanted to post. How could I forget that one?! *grins* My first reaction to it was "y hello thar Kristin's nipple". I also love the promo shot of him hovering over her while she's stretched out on the straw. Mmmm, so alluring. I'd be all over her.

b) Ohhh, no, I haven't seen it yet. I remember seeing all the posters for it all over Paris when I was on holiday over there when it came out. I love all the excuses I now I for doing a big amazon.fr order once I've paid all the student-y things I have to pay. Yey for new Kristin & Isabelle yumminess!
