49 Things about Me

Dec 02, 2005 21:17

I stole this survey from Krissy's MySpace blog as a procrastination tool. I'm just not ready to start all the homework fun yet.

1. Sleep with or without clothes on?
Definitely with.
2. Prefer black or blue pens?
Just so long as they're Bic or roller-tip, I don't much care.
3. Dress up on Halloween?
I used to, not for a few years now, though.
4. Like to travel?
I'd like to, but I really haven't had much opportunity.
5. Like someone?
Kinda-sorta, not that it matters.
6. Do they know?
I don't think so, and he probly never will. Cuz that's how I do things.
7. Who sleeps with you every night?
My super-soft teddy bear, Fitzie, that my fam got me for my induction into Sigma Tau Delta.
8. Think you're attractive?
Psh. Not so much.
9. Want to get married?
Maybe someday.
10. To who?
No clue.
11. Are you a good student?
I try. Well, used to try. Senioritis and a busy schedule has been a bit rough on my academics of late.
12. Are you currently happy?
Not so much.
13. Have you ever cheated?
On a high school geography test, yes (Gimmee a break, he left the map on the wall right next to my friggen desk.) On a person, no.
14. Birthplace?
Marinette, WI
15. Christmas or Halloween?
Christmas
16. Colored or black-and-white photo?
Both are nice for their own purpose, but I adore black-and-whites.
17. Do long distance relationships work?
It depends on the people/effort involved.
18. Do you believe in astrology?
Not really. But I do read my horoscope when I lay hands on a newspaper that has them.
20. Do you believe in love at first sight?
I don't know.
21. Do you consider yourself the life of the party?
If by life you mean the one who sits and watches everyone else go nuts.
22. Do you drink?
Occassionally. Although lately I've been fighting off the urge A LOT.
23. Do you make fun of people?
It's bad to mock people, I know; but sarcasm is so much fun.
24. Do you think dreams eventually come true?
*shrug*
25. Favorite fictional character?
They'd have to be Harry Potter characters. If I had to pick a top one, I'd say Albus Dumbledore.
26. Go to the movies or rent?
Depends on my mood, and who I'm with. I don't really do theaters solo.
27. Have you ever moved?
Many, many times. Do I like it? No.
28. Have you ever stolen anything?
I'll admit it; I had a couple times in Jr. High when I succumbed to peer pressure and nabbed a bottle of nail polish or a candy bar. Never anything big or expensive tho.
29. How's the weather right now?
Friggen cold. Winter sucks.
30. Hug or kiss?
If I like the person a lot and the moment is right, I'll do hugs.

Umm...Kristy Basolo from Marquette Monthly.
32. Last time you showered?
This morning.
33. Loud or Soft Music?
Depends. Usually loud, I guess.
34. McDonalds or Burger King?
Thats tough. Mickey D's has the $1 Menu and better fries, but BK has better breakfast.
35. Night or day?
Night.
36. Number of Pillows?
Two.
37. Piano or guitar?
Both are good, but I dig guitar players.
38. Future job?
I'd like to think a writer of some sort, but I'll probably end up working at the Chip-In for the rest of my life.
39. Current job?
Full-time college student, NorthWind associate news editor, intern at Marquette Monthly, free-lance writer for God's Country Outdoor Magazine. That's right, I'm a busy girl.
40. Current love?
Sleep. And my family and friends.
41. Current longing?
To be done with school, and have something to cuddle with (pet or boy).
42. Current disappointment?
That I have uber-homework to do this weekend. That graduation is 2 weeks away. And that I have yet to hear anything about the house I want to rent.
43. Current annoyance?
See above.
44. Last thing you ate?
Pintos and cheese from Toxic Hell.
45. Last thing you bought?
See above.
46. Most recent thing you are looking forward to?
Sleeping. No, seriously I'd say seeing Mom next weekend.
47. What are you hearing right now?
The CSI: theme song on Spike TV.
48. Plans for this weekend?
Lots of fun stuff. Finishing an over-due article for God's Country. Writing for Fiction Class. Writing for Public Affairs Class. Writing for American Lit Class. Writing my last NorthWind article EVER. Basically, writing till I die.
49. What did you do today?
Woke up, showered, worked on stuff, went to NorthWind critique, worked at Marquette Monthly, went grocery shopping, got supper at Taco Bell, came home to work on more stuff.
