Don't think this sort of tiny detail needs regulation?

A lighter is visible for about 10-20 seconds per use. There are much bigger problems to tackle than such trivial things as lighters. If they are smoking, then it's not likely to be an intense or busy moment in game. really don't think this sort of tiny detail needs regulation. -Comment someone made on a Facebook thread

In amongst my random LRP bits and bobs there is a small box, which is the length of a short match. It has the volume to take about 10 matches. On the inside of the lid there is the strike surface from a match box glued on (it came with a strike surface that wasnt very good so I replaced it). Said box usually lives with my various writing bits (so I can use sealing wax), but also comes to where I am likely to be lighting candles or similar. The master box of matches is concealed in a larger box and can be replenished when no-one is around. Its not perfect, but it is considerably less jarring than a lighter.

Even a metal lighter looks a lot less horrible than the cheap neon plastic ones.
