HOLY SHIT!!!

Okay, I'm sorry to hear that you've seperated but it sounds like it probably was the better thing for you two. And I'm happy to see that you are putting the kids before your own personal needs and that the two of you are acting like mature adults. There are too many seperated / divorced couples who use their children as pawns in a game.

And lord, I am SO sorry about the house burning down. Thank GOD none of you were home and nobody was hurt. It's going to be a pain to get all the repairs done but again, you are all alive and unharmed so that's the best thing.

As far as having to now live again with the hubby....woah! Good luck!!

Thanks hon! Things like this really put life into perspective.
And yes, sometimes being a mature adult sucks ass!! I am just glad that I am able to pull "mature adult" off. LOL

Oh Tonya...I miss you so. I'm so sorry that you're going through all of this. I can only imagine how hard it's been on you. But just think about how strong you are as a person and this all will just make you stronger.

As for me, I'm still here and kicking, The Mom is still recovering from chemo and is having nasty side effects.

And yes, we do STILL need to plan a shopping day at the outlets. ;-)

And we totally need to plan a shopping trip being that MY work clothes were completely destroyed!! Give me a date chica!

I am so sorry you have had to go through all this but thank goodness everyone is safe. You are a great mom for putting your kids first. I hope that you won't have to been in that situation too long because you need to take care of yourself too. *hugs*

aw, that just sucks. but life sometimes throws you curveballs like this and you just have to tough it out. As long as the insurance comes through and the house will soon be back to be livable, then you have something to look forward to.
