i have recently been posed the question 'is it possible to have a relationship with someone you sleep with on the first date?'

my immediate answer to that query is yes. most likely because that's a pretty vague question. the word relationship can be defined as vaguely as 'The condition or fact of being related; connection or association.' (p.s. to ( Read more... )

ahhh, why is sex still so taboo?
for the first time in my life i'm in a serious relationship [scared the shit out of me at first] and it was sexual from the get-go.

its the people that wait until that fucked-up thing called marriage to have sex, that creep me out.

I agree with meet the decline. Waiting for marriage sucks. If it's the first time having sex, as in, your are a virgin, don't jump into bed on the first date, wait til the second. But one thing I've learn, you learn a lot from sexual experiences. Can they push your buttons, can they make you quiver. Can it become more then just "sex". And the answer, yes it can. As long as both sides agree! You can develope a long term relationship, while having sex. Look at it this way...in a relationship, you are getting to know each other right? Likes, dislikes, all that. Same thing with sex. Sex can also inhance your feelings for them too (when they are that good..:))

So, to answer your question if you can have a relationship, even if you slept with him after the first date, god I hope so, since I'm in that position. But you know what? We are both in it together. Sex is a wonderful thing. If helps with the connection thing. chemistry. If you feel it, after hopping into bed (or the couch, which ever's closer) you can just know...
