I haven't talked to my parents since Sunday... that's a long time considering I used to call them almost every day. I attempted to call my mother this morning... she was mean and nasty to me and expected me to apologize to both of them and to call when I'm ready, then hung up. Okay then

I dont blame you for wanting to apoligize about the carpet thing. You were in the right and they were being disrespectful. If you do decide to be the bigger person and swallow your pride I think you should go to their house get your shoes nice and dirty walk in and not take them off, and say "Hi I am here to apoligize" as you run aimelessly through their house tracking dirt everywhere.
