Evidently, being a Prefect is not always fun
It wasn't as if I was expecting that being a Prefect would be a glamourous job. But to have to remind first- and second-years (and some OLDER years as well) that they need to clean up themselves and their clothing after working with fertilizer? Honestly - I can't tell if they were being lazy or if it was some bizarre revolt against Professor Snape's detention.
Transfiguration was good today - we learned to change a candle into a cage. Mine stayed up and didn't melt into a lump of wax, and it also didn't smell of vanilla, so I got full points. I'm looking forward to more tomorrow, plus Arithmancy.
Oh, and Ron, would you want to go to the library with me on Saturday? Let me know.
