Thank you so much! I deserve the adjective. Will try and update soon. Hope the next part makes up for the cliffhanger.

Wow, this chapter went fast. And now a cliffhanger - how am I supposed to get my mind away from this story now?! ^.-

The fact that Anderson of all people is the first to get a warrant for the Yarders made me giggle. He is not all that bad (nor is he incompetent) when Sherlock is out of the picture.
I fully understand Lestrade's reasons, but the nagging thought that his own team maybe wouldn't give it their all if they interpreted what has happened as "Freak has gotten himself into trouble. Again. By running off without telling Lestrade right away. As usual" must be awful.

Yay for more Moran, it's always interesting to see how he is imagined by different people. I think his pragmatism contrasts Moriarty's fire-and-ice mentality (emphasis on mental in more then one sense of the word) very well.

Jim continues to be a Magnificent Bastard, may the moths gnaw holes in all his Westwoods! And now Mycroft has entered the scene... *gulp*

This reply is looooong overdue and I apologise. First, thanks for the review. and for asking if the next part is done yet. I'm Sorry for being such an inconsistant and lazy writer.

The next part was a bit unexpectedly difficult to write. Not interms of plot but execution. You'll understand what I mean when you read it.

Readers like you keep me on my toes and don't let me give up. Thanks for being so wonderful!

Any chance of this being updated soon? Don't want to be pushy - but the semester's over and the free time is leaving me desperate for good fics!

You're not being pushy, an update is long overdue. But it's not shaping out the way I want and I'm simply too swamped, but will try and get it up by next week.

Try my tumblr (link in my side-bar) I'm reccing one Sherlock fic a day and am on day 88 presently.

I've said this before, but I really admire your clever and complex plotting. It's brilliant the way Anderson (of all people) is able to come up with something to pin on Moriarty. The way in which you bring both Moriarty and Moran to life in this chapter is rather frightening -- but in an excellent way. The interaction that both these villains have with Sherlock and John just proves how cruel, cunning and ruthless they both are. I think this is something else I may have said before, but you do a wonderful job with pacing, especially when it comes to the more tense and suspenseful scenes, such as the last one in which Sherlock is trying to find the black case. Love the cliffhanger with Mycroft confronting Sherlock in the end. Very nicely done! :-D
