Ha, no fooling John, absolute BAMF that he is! I'll happily and patiently await the sequel whenever the muse strikes you, but for now I'm glad that this emotional rollercoaster of a fic has reached a lovely ending. I'm mostly in the *squee-OMG-sogood* phase of appreciation. ^^ Thank you for those entertaining and exciting hours. Thank you for having the guts to put those beloved characters through the wringer, and even more thanks for getting them out of the trouble again - not unscathed, but unbroken. It was a pleasure.

I'll still stalk this place and your tumblr for any news on RtR though. ;)

Yours in Fandom, always.

When I was writing the final parts, I kept getting sudden ideas of how R2R would go and I told myself, finish this first! I will be continuing the Series but this time I'm going to complete a chunk before I post it. The cliff-hangers are fun to write but a bitch to resolve and I don't really wan't month long gaps between parts of R2R. Lets see!

Thanks for the amazing reviews. If it were not for readers like you, this story wouldn't have seen it's 'THE END' line. I'm really. really grateful for the encouragement.

I absolutely adored this story. I'm so glad to see that you finished it. But I'm greedy and I still want more. :P Thanks for writing this, and I'll be eagerly awaiting the sequel when you get to it.

I hadn't intended to finish the story here but my writing for this fic had taken a serious downturn (if the month-long gaps were any indication) and I didn't want the ending to suffer for it. Then my beta said, why not end it here? I think the next part deserves to be fresh and spontaneous like the fresh start for the boys, it's intended to be. So I agreed. I'm glad you agree too. And thanks for a lovely review!

This final chapter was totally worth the wait! You've really ended this story in a fabulous way! :-D

I love Sherlock's desperation to find out if John is okay, only to pretend that his feelings were all an act when he finally sees John again. Of course, Mycroft sees through the whole thing. This exchange between Mycroft and Sherlock is great:

It was an uncharacteristically silent Sherlock that Mycroft finally returned to his bed, and Mycroft was just preparing to leave before he finally broke the quiet tension. “Bravo, Sherlock. That was quite the performance.”

Sherlock was staring listlessly out of the window. “As I said, it was necessary.”

“Oh, not the one you claimed to have orchestrated for James Moriarty’s benefit, but the one you just gave. Very…moving. You almost had me convinced.”I thought Mycroft would have to explain what was really going on to John, so it was such a pleasant surprise when John informed Mycroft that he knew Sherlock was lying and even understood the reason why. And can I say how utterly romantic it is ( ... )
