This is really gripping. Poor John. And Sherlock, how given your genius could you not realise what had happened. Yey for concerned!Lestrade.

Do I really have to wait a further week for the next part?

Thank you so much. I don't really like making you wait. But I'm still working on the ending of the story, and from the next part onwards is like part 2 of the story though I'm not partitioning it as such. If something doesn't work out with the ending, I may have to come back to part six or seven to tweak the details, which I can't, after that part is posted.

So you may have to wait a week for the next part but I'll try to have it up by Wed.

p.s. I know that I should have completed the story before starting to post it, but I really needed the encouragement to write more. Thanks for your patience!

No worries. I can quite understand you wanting to make sure everything works properly and equally that you would want to know that what you had already written was working for your readers.

Holy cow, I just read all five chapters in one go. And this is definitely the best thing I've read in ages. Love it!

Well, he did run away, but I totaly get why he did it. Love that he is still able to admire Sherlock and thinks that he can help, even if John can see how similar he is to his Ex. Next chapter please! :-)

Honesty and integrity are synonymous with John Watson. That's the main reason why he's such an enigma to Sherlock. Half of the time he's wondering, how the hell did he survive all this time with those qualities intact!

Thanks for reading and taking the time to review. Next Chapter soon.

That's Sherlock in a nutshell. A case of chronic emotional constipation (ref. the TGG post-Jim exit and pre-re-entry scene or the Sebastian loo scene in TBB).

He believes that he's not supposed to feel (sociopath remember?) and then when he does, he bottles it up, till he bursts out the way he did in Reichenbach- 'Can't you see what's going on!'

That was too much rambling but I love the B.B.C. characterisation.

Thanks for such an amazing compliment. Will update soon.

Really enjoying but I get nervous when things are WIP as I've been burned before, but I'm trusting you because you say you are pretty much done with writing it? How many chapters are talking?

I know exactly what you are talking about. It's my habit to avoid wip's from unknown fanfic authors too. The more amazing the story, the worse you feel when it's seemingly abandoned.

Which makes me feel really happy that you took a chance on this one. I have completed 8 chapters so far and I think that I may have two-three more to go. The story is ready in my head but I type like John, so that's the main limiting factor.

Thanks for taking a chance on this story. I hope the subsequent chapters live up to your expectations.
