8-5 sounds like a decent victory for the proletariat of Lower Station Road. Hoorah!

Any thing that means no late shifts is worth a pay rise, IMNSHO.

Applying "time is money", leads to my agreeing with you - late shifts mean bad busses and inconvenient eating times etc. - no cheap lunch from workplace canteen etc.

The only bad thing is I can't avoid rush-hour. But hey - I can see *people*!
