Love! Especially this line: "She feels like... home. Her hand’s small and warm and it lifts the pressure off my chest just a bit: things seem slightly less bleak when I know she’s lying right next to me."
You know, I really like Ron worrying about Ginny in the opening part. We haven't seen that much since the second book, other than him being appalled during her snogging sessions, and it's nice to see affection and love and concern between them.
But my favorite is the simple by-play in the middle. Very simple and very emotive.
This is so beautiful. I think you got Ron's voice just right, and I definitely think that you did a good job addressing all his fears. I loved that he was so worried about Ginny. And I loved all his thoughts about Hermione. This is a perfect missing moment! :)
but I’m going to hold onto the memory of her in that dress, in my arms, just in case I need to produce a Patronus of my own any time soon
Oh my, so cute! I loved the Ron's POV, how he's thinking about his family, and your view on the holding hands scene ^-^ And his thoughts about Hermione are so, so lovely!

So sweet, and just the right amount of sad.

I loved the interaction between Ron and Hermione, and your take on how the hand holding may have happened, as well as the affect it had on Ron.
Well done! :)
