I'm probably not the best person to give scifi a try. If I did I'd want it to be really scientifically viable, and I don't think I have the knowledge to do that at this moment, nor the time to become knowledgeable enough.

It is nice, although from what I understand also completely unscientific and impossible. I think at best you'd create a working copy, if that would even be possible...

it isn't! It is the month of my birth though, must have made a mistake. Or more likely, wanted at that particular moment to be born at Elf-Elf ( both a fairy/elf and 11 being "elf"in Dutch).

Yeah, seems pretty implausible, unless we were to find out something about consciousness that currently evades our understanding; but I'd tend to think the mind is too bound up with the physical brain to replicate. Sigh.

*notes comment below* Oh, the 14th. Mine's also a 14th (April). =D Though I think April is a boring month and would have preferred to be born in October or November.

Also, I made a birthday sketch for you yesterday, which is forthcoming once I've got it online..

I did this yesterday knowing your birthday was sometime in November, but have it early. It's supposed to be Andreth chilling by a stream. This is a customizeable pressie though, because it's only roughly sketched in pencil so far; so if you have specific hair, clothes, body type etc. in mind, I can still alter it before finishing the drawing.
