sounds like they screwed up and used a binder with latex elastic in it - most elastic is made out of latex. she probably got you a mild cortisone cream, which should clear it up pretty quickly. (that's the ONLY kind of cortisone i'll touch, but when my skin gets an allergic break-out, like from cardboard or detergent or something, cort.cream is the only thing that will really fix it. )
don't scratch! the last thing you need is to break the skin and risk any kind of infection or anything. if it still itches bad even after the cream, some oral benadryl might help (would help you sleep, too.)
Hey girlfriend, I hope this cream makes a world of difference and this damn itch is gone by the time I check back in, today! Hg's suggestion to use benadryl is probably a good idea too, if you need it.
