If you've checked your email in the last 36 hours or so, you know my sentiments and how happy I am for you - and take some credit, woman! Some of this goodness is luck, but a goodly part of it is due to your being willing to be open to change and to do the work necessary to make it happen. Take a bow!
Tsk tsk anon..... XD I did in fact read your email HG. I just hadn't gotten around to forming a reply yet as my bi-polar has been in an upswing and I can't sit still for too long at a time. *grumbles* I guess I'm getting problems solved for myself because I'm sick of putting up without. Once I finally get to that point I'm usually pissed off and get my ass wound up enough to do something.
Glad you have some good things happening! Smudge is a cutie- re: stuff you need-I've had good luck finding things at thrift stores- you can also check with local churches or catholic social services.
Yeah I'm glad too. Smudge is such a cutie. I know I'd probably be able to find some of the stuff at a thrift store but I have trouble getting to one and how would I get the items home? My only transport is taking a cab all over town. That costs lots of money (I don't have) and most cabs wouldn't be able to carry the items. I'm not associated with any local churches. I generally stay far away from them. But thank you for the suggestions.
most churches don't care if you are affiliated with them, they will help anyway. CatholicSsocial Services & Salvation Army are usually pretty reliable- I know here CSS regularly posts in the paper for things different families need. You can also check craigslist-
I check craigslist regularly, but the vast majority want you to come and pick things up. Again I can't do that since I have to take a cab everywhere and have NO ONE to help me. I simply can't get anywhere that might be able to help. I don't have cab fare. It costs a lot to get around.
