[Voice Post]Our history says that the hunters gained our powers from a human devouring the flesh of a pureblooded vampire. (OOC - Ever see Sanctuary? Vampires were wiped out centuries ago by humans. But there's like one vial of vamp blood in existence, which towards the end of the first season, everybody and their brother is after because it's super powerful stuff.)
