So not certain it I have to go to LIS 581 tomorrow, but have the sinking feeling I will have to. Too bad. I would have liked more time to do the final Records Management assignment. Will work on most of that tommorrow, spend the weekend watching Junior Nationals, meeting with Residence Life again, and working frantically to finish work on

I explained this trick on my blog. What I do is stake out a time when whatever it is will be over. Terrible Thursday ends at 7:10 and I'm home at around 8. So in the morning of a Terrible Thursday I look at the clock and say by 8 it will all have been done. Whatever happens, will have happened.
I've not used this trick for calendar time. Only over the course of a day or a few hours. But strength of character (which you've got) is an enabler.
